Fax data transmission system using dynamic temporary memory

摘要

The transmission system is used for transmission of the fax data between a data processing system (DS) and a communications peripheral (KE) via an optical link (DV), with temporary storage of the fax data at the communications peripheral via a dynamic memory (PS). The size of the memory location for storing the fax data from the data processing system is altered in dependence on the quality of the transmission link, e.g. an IR link.
