The present invention relates to a lighting wheel of an in-line skate fitted to said in-line skate and comprising a circuit board 4 and two covers 2,3, the circuit board including a switch 46, an oscillating switch 44, a flickering IC 41, a plurality of batteries 42 for power, and a plurality of light emitters 45 housed inside said covers with the switch and the light emitters being arranged to communicate with outside through holes 25; the switch is controlled to shift the flickering IC to either a ready condition or an off condition; the flickering IC, in said ready condition, is activated by the oscillating switch under movement to energize the light emtters to flicker. The covers 2, 3 are sonically welded together and covered by an elastic coating. Various switches 46 may be used.
