PURPOSE:To enable a complicated automatic musical performance and diversify performance styles by reading event data out of a storage means until time data right after certain time data are read out, and generating plural musical sounds at the same timing point. CONSTITUTION:The automatic playing device 2 has a CPU 21, a program memory 23, a working memory 24, a musical performance data memory 25, etc., and the working memory 24 is a random access memory which stores data generated when the CPU 21 performs control and has a buffer memory. Musical performance data can be recorded and reproduced simultaneously, and reproduced key data of channels specified as a channel for reproduction and a channel for recording are stored in the interrupt buffer of the working memory 24 after being read out, reconstituted together with new key data inputted from a device 1 to the interrupt buffer, and then recorded in the musical performance data memory 25. Consequently, plural musical sound can be generated at the same time. |
