PURPOSE:To replace or recycle a water treatment agent in an appropriate and timely manner by providing a water treatment means, a water circulation means and a water treatment agent replacement means. CONSTITUTION:When a water softening device is employed, a setting changeover key 32 is switched to a measurement setting value, and the measurement setting value is set by incrementing or decrementing the value by means of a setting key 30 while the indications of a setting display unit 31 are checked. Then if a recycling state is obtained by operation of a changeover switch 29, untreated water to be supplied from pipe 25 enters a table salt storage tank 13 through pipe 34. Further, if a required amount of untreated water is supplied, it flows into a water treatment column 11. At that time, the table salt water is sucked up by the power of running untreated water, and at the same time, runs into the water treatment column 11 with the feedstock water. Then, an ion exchange membrane in the water treatment column 11 is regenerated. Consequently, drinking water is utilized with high treatment efficiency. |
