A method of drying according to the invention operating with low temperature drying air (low temperature drying method) and instead of diesel using atmospheric heat and the electrical power of the gas turbines taking the drying air to the product beyond as a source of heat energy for the additional heating of the atmospheric drying air. The drying area 4 has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped which, in conjunction with the method of installing the gas turbines, allows full utilisation of the electrical power over and above the production of mechanical energy for carrying the drying air to the product as well as the production of heat energy for drying the product. The invention can be used for drying cereals and other granular products, for example for drying raw materials in plastics factories. |
