<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a boss which can be manufactured easily and whose accuracy is high by providing the boss fixed to a steering shaft to a turning direction indicator switch, and opening and forming positioning recesses to which positioning projections projecting from the rotary member to rotate together with a steering wheel main body are fitted. CONSTITUTION:To a steering shaft 22, a boss 21 formed by casting an iron is provided. To the lower surface 21b of the boss 21, a plane 25, positioning recesses 26a, 26b, and 26c, and recesses 27a and 27b for regulation are formed. The positioning recesses 26a, 26b, and 26c are formed by opening from the lower surface 21b to the peripheral surface 21c of the boss 21. Positioning projections 42, 42, and 42 to fit to the positioning recesses 26a, 26b, and 26c respectively are projected from the three positions of the upper end surface 41a of a cancel cam 41 as a rotary member to compose a turning direction indicator switch. Since the positioning recesses 26a, 26b, and 26c can be formed by a casting, a complicated work is not required.</p> |
