PURPOSE:To display an endoscopic image at the time of reproduction in a state superposing an electrocardiographic synchronous (ECG) waveform thereon or not superposing by recording the endscopic image as an image signal and also recording medical related data such as the ECG waveform as a sound signal different from the image signal. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 12 is closed at a contact (a), a switch 13 is closed at a contact a'. In this state, the standard television signal outputted from a video interface circuit 2 is inputted not only to a video- electrocardiographic synchronous (ECG) waveform mixing circuit 3 but also to a recording apparatus 6. An ECG waveform signal is inputted to the video- ECG waveform mixing circuit 3 and the recording apparatus 6. In this state, by opening/closing the selection switch 3A of a display device 8, an ECG waveform is displayed or only an endoscopic image can be displayed. The recording apparatus 6 separately records a standard television signal as an image signal and a sound signal as the ECG waveform signal. Therefore, when the switch 12 is closed at a contact (b), the switch 13 is closed at a contact b' and it can be freely selected as for whether the ECG waveform is superposed in displaying the endoscopic image or not. |
