<p>PURPOSE:To accurately judge the properties of the ground over a wide area through easy operation by rotating and moving up and down sondes which are arranged in plural shafts and each equipped with an electromagnetic wave transmitter and a receiver in synchronism with each other. CONSTITUTION:Sonde elevation devices 3 and 4 are installed at the entrances and exits of the shafts 1 and 2 and the sondes 5 and 6 are lowered in the shafts. Then the sondes are elevated through the operation of the elevation devices. Further, the sondes 5 and 6 are connected to a control unit 7 which controls rotary motion, oscillation, and receiving operation and send and receive electromagnetic waves while being elevated and rotated. One sonde and the other sonde are driven in synchronism with each other and each investigates the ground by a reflecting method in the rotary motion. Further, when their antennas face each other, one sonde is placed in a transmission state and the other is placed in a reception state to investigate the ground with a transmitted wave.</p> |
