The trimming shears have two opposing shear frames set on plinths. Two pairs of roller cutters (5,6) are arranged on each frame (1) which is mounted to rotate about a central vertical axis (2) so that when the frame turns 180 degrees , the first pair occupies the place of the second pair. The drive (9) of one frame's cutter's pair's spur wheel gearing lies coaxially with the rotary axis of the frame. To adjust the pairs of cutters, at least one of the cutters is adjustable in the shear frame. The spur wheels driving the adjustable cutters and or the spur wheel shafts supporting same are displaceable in the displacement direction of the pairs of cutters. |
