<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish smooth speed change without breathing and to improve running performance by detecting the end of filling from a change rate of the number of revolutions of input shaft of a transmission to detect the end of filling simply and accurately. CONSTITUTION:After a speed change command is output, during a period of a filling time tf until a clutch back is filled up with oil, oil acts only for filling up the clutch back, and during the period tf, the clutch oil pressure is zero. The clutch oil pressure comes to initial pressure P0 at the completion of filling. On the other hand, though the number of revolutions of an input shaft of a transmission is normally held at a specified level nc during the period of time tf after a speed change command is output, at the completion of filling, it is decreased by force exerted on a clutch by the initial pressure P0. Accordingly, a change rate ¦nc-nt¦/nc of number of revolutions of the input shaft using the initial level nc as a standard, that is, a change ratio of number nt of revolutions at each point of time to number nc of revolutions at the time of outputting a speed change command is checked, and when the change rate is more than a preset value K, it is detected as the end of filling.</p> |
