A heat-curable single-component coating material with a viscosity of 1000-50000 mPas at 60 degrees C contains the following components :(A) 85-96 wt.% at least one isocyanate prepolymer with isocyanurate and urethane groups ; (B) 4-12 wt.% fine particulate melamine with a mean particle diameter of 1-30 microns ; and (C) 0-3 wt.% auxiliary agent. The preparation of glass coatings using these materials is also claimed.
