SOLUTION: A recording layer containing dye represented by formula I or II (where M is a trivalent or tetravalent metal element having an alkyl group or aryl group, R<1> to R<13> are a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group, (t) is an integer of 1 to 2, X<1> to X<4> are each an alkyl group, aryl group, alkoxy group or aryloxy group, and (k), (l), (m), (n) are each an integer of 0 to 4) is provided on a board to form an optical information recording material. To expedite the efficiency of optical energy and wavelength matching properties in the recording layer, other dye such as a polymethine dye, naphthalocyanine, phthalocyanine, squalerium, naphthoquinone may be added.
