PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate a straight part and a corner part while producing the corner part which is hard to extrusion molded by die forming of injection molding, etc., by extending an end part of the straight part having an insert and setting it in a forming die. SOLUTION: A glass run 8 showing a sectional square shape with one side open which forms a guide groove 9 along one side of a flange 7 along a window frame 2 is constituted of a straight part 8a along a rectilinear part of the window frame 2 and a corner part 8b along a corner part of the window frame 2. The straight part 8a is constituted of an extrusion molded article in the insert 11, an end part of the straight part 8a is set in a mold and the corner part 8b is constituted die forming with no insert. Productivity of the glass run 8 is improved by setting the straight part 8a having the insert 11 in a forming die by extending it by providing a starting part to bend in a direction to extend and narrow opening width of the guide groove 9 in the neighbourhood of a connecting part with the corner part 8b on the insert 11. |
