PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently remove breakage or rupture of a rotary part supporting body or a casing when breakage is generated, and rotatably support a rotor for jet engine with spring elasticity. SOLUTION: A bearing device for the rotor 1 of a jet engine is provided with a bearing 4 fitted to a rotary part supporting body 7 through a bearing support 5. When breakage is generated, for example, when a blade of a compressor rotor is broken, because a usage limit broken section 8 to be broken at a fixed load is concentrically arranged between the rotary part supporting body 7 and the bearing support 5, breakage of the rotary part supporting body 7 or a casing is prevented. Hereby, transmission of excessive load in the radial direction to the rotary part supporting body 7 or the rotor casing connected to the rotary part supporting body is sufficiently avoided as far as the rotor 1 is not yet stopped. This bearing device is useful in particular in the case of a turbojet engine of an aircraft. In the case, for example, when vane loss of a fan rotor is generated, influence of destructive power of a running rotor at higher rotating speed on the adjoining casing territory can be reduced. |
