PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive applying apparatus in which the distance between the rotation axial line of a block roll and the rotation axial line of an adhesive roll is not changed by movably guiding either the rotation axial line of the block roll or the rotation axial line of the adhesive roll in a manner that the distance between the block roll and the adhesive roll is kept constant. SOLUTION: A supporting plate 20 by which an adhesive chamber 23 is held is rotated freely in a plate or a carrier 22 of a framework of this apparatus and supported by a vertically hung side journal 21. A seal roll 25 is journalled to the supporting plate 20 and at the same time a cylindrical disc 27 having eccentric journals 26, 28 in both sides is supported with the supporting plate 20 in a freely rotatable manner and an adhesive roll 1 is supported with the eccentric journal 26. Moreover, an adjustment lever 29 is connected with the cylindrical disc 27 and the adjustment lever 29 is driven by an adjustment drive 30 of, for example, a hydraulic piston cylinder unit, so that the thickness of an adhesive layer captured by the adhesive cylinder 1 is adjusted. |
