PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bendable heat insulation coating material for a pipe which is uniformly coated with a heat insulator without irregularity, has a simple structure and is easily manufactured. SOLUTION: This bendable heat insulation coating material for a pipe is obtained by the steps of forming one linear cut on a hollow rod-like material made of a foam flexible at the ambient temperature in a lengthwise direction, inserting a metal or plastic core material having rigidity into the hollow part via the cut, spirally winding the core material-filled rod-like material to form a tubular material, and covering the outer or outer and inner surfaces of the tubular material with a plastic tape flexible at the ambient temperature. |
