PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material, by which butt welding is carried out by high-frequency welding, and a method and a device therefor. SOLUTION: A groove extending over the overall length of sides along the rear of an edge plate is formed to the rear of a floor material 1. The butt welding of the floor material 1 is carried out by inserting rod-shaped electrodes 4 into the groove and applying high-frequency voltage among the electrodes 4. A molten resin does not flow out to the surface side by welding the rear of the floor material 1 while the rear is directed downwards. No distortion is generated in a bonding section by holding an edge plate abutted on a surface plate 6 by two electrodes and welding the edge plate, and no stepped section is caused in the bonding section by welding an abutting section under a held- down state by hold-down plates 8. The abutting section is held vertically by the electrodes functioning as the hold-down plates 8 in combination and welded even in the vertical direction, and the bonding section of the floor material 1 is further strengthened. |
