FLUID CONDUIT SYSTEM AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid conduit system suitable for a sprinkler and nozzle system. SOLUTION: A multi-layered fluid conduit is formed by gluing a thermoplastic-resin outer layer on the tubular outer surface of a metal pipe. This outer layer easily enables a connection of the multi-layered conduits in a leakproof fluid conduit system by gluing both ends of the conduit to others with suitable thermoplastic-resin joint parts. For a fire protection system, a suitable metal is steel, a suitable thermoplastic resin is CPVC and a suitable adhesive agent is thermally activated. A metal pipe coated with an adhesive agent is preheated and the CPVC is pushed out onto the outer surface of this preheated metal pipe. This multi-layered conduit system can be introduced to a place where there is threat of intense fire. The conduits can be easily assembled on the site by directly connecting ordinary all plastic joint parts which use suitable connecting agents like an adhesive agent mainly made of a solvent.
