PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag module, which is molded easily and is provided with an excellent assembling property, by combining simple structure casings together by which a damping function basically provided for an instrument panel and air bag cover is sufficiently drawn out and a shock from an occupant can be absorbed effectively. SOLUTION: An air bag module 1 is provided with a case upper 2 storing an air bag which is inflated in case of a collision so as to protect an occupant, a case lower 4 storing an inflator 5 inflating the air bag, and a cover fixed in a fixing part 2K in a side wall of the case upper 2. The side wall of the case upper 2 is divided into a plurality of pieces, and the end parts of the divided side wall are fastened to one another 10, 11, so that a weak shock working on the air bag module 1 can be damped. |
