PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photo-semiconducting substance which can develop a good catalytic function when mixed into a base material constituent by installing a wall which contains the photo-semiconducting substance and is composed of a porous substance. SOLUTION: A form of porous microcapsule is made to prevent the direct contact between a photo-semiconducting substance and a base material constituent without cutting off light from the photo-semiconducting substance, and a porous microcapsule-shaped photocatalyst is formed to have a wall which contains the photo-semiconductive substance and is composed of a porous substance. At least one kind selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, tungsten trioxide, strontium titanate is used as the photo-semicomducting substance, and a conductive substance is made to be contained with the photo- semiconducting substance as required. Tin oxide is used preferably as the conductive substance. |
