<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the gap between an armature and a magnet assembly from getting unbalanced to result in unstable disengagement operation, wherein the unbalance is generated when the armature is twisted to a certain degree to cause enlarged swinging at the time of brake disengagement. SOLUTION: A bow-shaped snap ring 10 and a push nut assembly are installed at the external end face in axial direction of an armature 4 on its side opposite the gap (g), and a minor preload is given to the armature 4 in the direction of a magnet assembly 2. Eventually a resilient piece 5 of rubber, etc., is provided in a truncated conical ring shape having a parallelopiped section, and the outside surface of a hub 16 and the inside surface of the armature 4 are given tapers such as to mate with the rubber resilient piece 5.</p> |
