PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover and reuse a nozzle and a stopper by fitting a changeable refractory sleeve near molten steel surface level and congaing the new sleeve after damaging. SOLUTION: An inclining part 12 having the inclining angleθis arranged near the molten steel surface level of the nozzle body 9. The annular refractory sleeve 11 for changing having the inclining angleθis fitted top the inclining part 12. During using, the damage part is developed over the upper part and the lower part of the molten steel surface level part of the refractory sleeve 11 for changing. The immersion nozzle 9 becomes a recovered and reusable nozzle only by changing the refractory sleeve 11. At the time of reusing, the refractory sleeve 11 does not become loosened a fall out. The refractory sleeve 11 is easily manufactured and fitted and contributs the cost reduction. The nozzle can be recovered, by which the eroded part and this lower part are cut off and removed and the new member is joined to the nozzle and the joint part is surrounded with the refractory sleeve.
