<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the output of a filter replacing sign exactly in conformity to the actual contaminated state of a filter unit. SOLUTION: This air cleaner is provided with a blower 2 contained in a casing 1, a filter unit 3 on the suction side of the blower 2 and a sensor 30 to detect the contamination degree of the sucked air, and the air deodorized and purified by the filter unit 3 is blown out from an air blowoff port. A control means to output a filter replacing sign to urge the replacement of the unit 3 when the value detected by the sensor 30 above a specified level is continued for a set time is attached. The air purifying function of the unit 3 is supposed to reach its limit due to the clogging of the unit 3 when the value detected by the sensor 30 above the specified level is continued for a specified time, and the filter replacing sign exactly in conformity to the actual contaminated state of the unit 3 is outputted.</p> |
