A cartridge and uses thereof

A cartridge (1) suitable for recharging a grease gun (18) having at one end frangible outlet structures (4) capable of being depressed inwardly of the cartridge to allow the egress of viscous liquid and having at the other end a plunger of piston structure (21) capable of being urged along the barrel (2) towards the outlet end (3) under the action of the grease gun. A feature of the plunger or piston end is its frangible nature insofar as is necessary to enable the withdrawal of the cartridge (1) as a whole from within the grease gun, i.e. upon depletion of the cartridge a part (17) of the plunger mechanism of the grease gun which has penetrated the plunger or piston (10) of the cartridge can abut against the same for withdrawal purposes.
