<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly continue paper feeding by a simple operation even if an adhesive force is produced in a paper sheet to be fed in the paper feeder of a friction separation roller system using a feed roller and a reverse roller. SOLUTION: The pressure-contacting force of a reverse roller 8 to a feed roller 7 is freely increased/decreased and the pressure-contacting force of this reverse roller 8 and the paper sheet returning force of the reverse roller 8 are increased/decreased based on a positive relationship. Thus, if an adhesive force is produced between paper sheets 1 to be fed, the pressure-contacting force and the paper sheet returning force of the reverse roller 8 are adjusted to optimal values simultaneously and the paper sheets 1 are fed without performing any separation work for the paper sheets 1.</p> |
