NORMAL-TEMPERATURE PAVING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paving material capable of paving a road at ordinary temperature and enabling the saving of energy and natural resource. SOLUTION: This paving material is composed of 2-18 pts.wt. (in terms of solid component) of an asphalt emulsion having the total solid components in an amount of 55-85wt.% and prepared by mixing (a) a thermoplastic polymer emulsion in an amount of 2-70wt.% in terms of solid component, (b) an emulsifier in an amount of 0.05-12.5wt.% in terms of solid component and (c) an asphalt in an amount of 17.5-97.95wt.% [(a)+(b)+(c)=100wt.%] with each other, and 0.01-5 pts.wt. of a polyisocyanate compound having a reactive polyisocyanate group based on 100 pts.wt. of an aggregate.
