PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sterilizing or adsorbing and removing microorganisms having contaminated a cell suspension, a solution of an active ingredient (solution of a physiologically active substance, solution of a medicine, a solution of a chemical, serum for cell culture or a medium for cell culture), a solid substance of a crude medicine, etc., and powder by a simple procedure and to obtain a solid antimicrobial agent to be used for the purpose. SOLUTION: This method for removing contamination of microorganisms comprises sterilizing or adsorbing and removing microorganisms by using a solid antimicrobial agent selected from a slightly soluble antimicrobial agent (sustained-release antimicrobial agent and microcapsulated antimicrobial agent) and an insoluble antimicrobial agent (immobilized antimicrobial agent, adsorbing antimicrobial agent and solid antimicrobial agent). |
