<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a purifying facility on a place having no space for installation at a river side. SOLUTION: A contact filtering chamber 9 is installed underground of a river bed 4 having a shutter weir 2, an inlet 10 of the contact filtering chamber 9 is formed on the river bed at an upstream side of the shutter weir 2, and an outlet 11 of the contact filtering chamber 9 is installed on the river bed in the downstream of the shutter weir 2, with a screen. The contact material for treating the water, is accommodated inside of the contact filtering chamber 9, and the second shutter weir 3 is installed in the just upstream of the inlet 10, to closes the inlet 10 when it is turned down. The water is flown to the inside of the contact filtering chamber 9 according to the water reserving level by the shutter weir 2, to be purified. The water flowing in the river is not disturbed by the purifying facility, and the contact material 14 is not damaged by a flowing matter, and can be easily replaced.</p> |
