PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent treating agent for dysuria having anα1 -receptor blocking activity selective on the prostate and the urinary tract smooth muscle and free from a side effect on the circulatory system such as pressure drop. SOLUTION: This treating agent comprises a compound selected from a phenylpiperazine derivative of the formula [R<1> , R<2> and R<3> are each H or a 1-3C alkoxy, or R<1> and R<2> or R<2> and R<3> together form the group O(CH2 )m ; (m) is 1-3; R<4> is H or a 1-3C alkyl; (n) is 2-4; X is C(O) or SO2 ; R<5> is H or a 1-3C alkyl], its acid-addition salt and their hydrates. An example of a compound of the formula, 2- 2-[4-(2-methoxyphenyl)-1-piperazinyl]ethyl}-6,7- trimethylenedioxy-3,4dihydro-1,2,4-benzothiadiazin-3-one-1,1-dioxide is cited. The content of a compound of the formula is 5-95wt.% in an oral preparation and 0.5-20wt.% in an injection. The single dose is 0.1-100mg/kg for adult in terms of an active component, and the dose is administered one to several times a day. |
