PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION FOR TREATING INFERTILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical preparation for treating infertility, comprising a small amount of a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone(LH-RH) antagonist and capable of using the period unstimulated by a gonadotropin and releasing a patient from excessive stimulation. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation comprises an LH-RH antagonist in a low content so as to suppress only the endogenous LH(leuteinizing hormone), maintain the secretion of a follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) at a natural level and not to affect the development of individual estrogens, preferably cetrorelix. The antagonist is preferably administered in a dose within the range of 1-10mg by subcutaneous administration once or twice and with a starting period of 6-10 days to induce the ovulation with a period of 9-16 days.
