PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wound healing agent containing cepharanthine as an active component, effective for healing the wound and ulcer generated in the tissue of the skin, etc., to the original state of the skin taking advantage of the regenerative activity of the epidermal cell, etc., and having high safety and healing effect. SOLUTION: The objective wound healing agent effective e.g. for the healing of wound such as incised wound, abraded wound, bedsore, hemorrhoids and skin ulcer is produced by using 0.000001-10wt.% of cepharanthine as an active component, mixing the active component with drug additive, antiseptic, antioxidant, surfactant, etc., such as collagen, polyvinyl alcohol, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium alginate, water-soluble dextran, pectin, methylcellulose, xanthane gum, casein, gelatin, polyethylene glycol, glycerol, stearic acid or sorbitol and forming the mixture in the form of a drug preparation. |
