<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal golf club head capable of achieving a sufficient bond strength between a head body and a shaft, and having a head body which is light and has a low center of gravity. SOLUTION: A metal golf club head comprises a heat body 29 made of a hollow outer shell formed of a metal, and a shaft 35 inserted in a heel side in the direction from the top side to the sole side of the head body 29. A shaft support member 39 is provided on an inner wall of a heel side 33 to fix an inserted end of the shaft 35. The shaft support member 39 of the golf club head is provided with a protrusion 39a having an engaging recess 39b to engage the inserted end part 35a of the shaft 35.</p> |
