The key (5) on removal or return in its entirety is made to pass through an opening (6) in a security cabinet, and the transponder on it on passage through the opening is activated with the aid of activating components (7,8) arranged at the opening, information transmitted from the transponder being registered. The security cabinet has at least one opening (6) which is wholly or partly surrounded by an antenna (7) comprising part of the activating component for the transponder on the key (5). The security cabinet has an outer casing (1) and a door (2) in which is a front (4) of glass or other transparent material screening the storage space of the cabinet. At least one opening (6) is arranged in the front. The front comprises an integrated part of an insert unit (3) which is introduced into the security cabinet. |
