The container comprises a can-shaped casing (10) with an input opening for products, and an open bottom end to which a base (34) is connected. The casing and the base have vertical control components (18,20) which engage with one another, which permit vertical movement of the casing in relation to the base between a raised and a lowered position. A counterweight arrangement (22) works in conjunction with the control components for counterbalancing the weight of the casing in the raised position. The control components are telescopic and the base is a plate of solid material, eg. concrete. The counterweight arrangement comprises a break wheel (26) located at an upper end of the base control component and a line (24) guided over the break wheel, one end of which is connected with a lower end of the casing control component (18) and whose other end is connected with a counterweight (30). |
