The present invention discloses a method of generating Tagetes Erecta (commonly known as cempasuchil) parental lines, the main object of which is to obtain plants having a high production of bigger flowers for food or cosmetic use vegetable pigments industry, said method comprising the steps of: selecting Elite individuals; in vitro cloning in the presence of a specific culture media (parents); and developing Parental lines.
