The present invention discloses a process and a device for the manufacture of polyurethane molded bodies, wherein a final pressure is applied before the mold filling is completed. In this process at least a half of said mold is lifted against some pre-tensed spring means during the required mold filling with reactive mixture. (Figure 1).
