The garment consists of upper (4) and lower (6) body sections and optional extra sections (1,5,7) to cover the head, arms and legs. Each section of the garment has fastenings, such as press studs, sliding clasp fasteners or self-adhesive fabric strips, which allow it to be opened out flat or fastened over the appropriate part of the body, head or limbs. The upper and lower body sections (4,6) form the basic garment, and the other sections can be added to it as required, e.g. for increased warmth during cold weather.
