The system includes a number of telephone terminals for the audio conference participants. An exchange system (3) links these terminals together. A server circuit (1) is connected to the exchange and includes connections to receive the speech signals from participants, and to transmit these to other participants. An administration circuit (2) is associated with the server (1), with the administration circuit and server provided to the person administering. The administration circuit includes a microprocessor (8) with a program memory (9), a data memory (12) and a real time clock (11). The program memory holds a series of instructions to validate operation of the equipment in relation to the time and date. The system may be controlled from two levels - by the administrator and by the users themselves.
