The machine has a container (26) which is pressure sealed and filled with a mixture (28) of synthetic resin and catalyst in predetermined amounts. The mixture is in a viscous liquid state. The machine has an injection tube (24) to feed the mixture to a crack (20). The injection tube is formed of a transparent plastics material and the flow of resin can be determined by an air bubble placed in the mixture by a control feed (46). The latter has a duct (44) connected to a compressed air source.
