The appts. to treat water supply flows, through a magnetic field, has a magnetic component (2) fitted into a sheath (10) of antimagnetic material, coaxial to the water treatment chamber (8). The magnetic component (2) has at least two magnetic units (2A,2B) which, mounted coaxially to the longitudinal sheath axis, are separated by a set length (D). Each magnetic unit (2A,2B) has a magnet (9), between two metal discs (11), of a given thickness.
