The rear seat comprises a seat cushion (A) and a seat back (D), which are linked together and to the chassis of the vehicle. The seat cushion is supported at the front edge by means of an axle (5), which is roughly vertical and linked to the floor of the vehicle. The links to the floor and to the seat cushion are by means of transverse axes. The rear of the seat cushion is fixed to a raised section (7) of the floor, by means of pins (20) fitting into a series of holes (21) to provide indexation. The seat back is hinged at its lower edge to the seat cushion rear edge. The upper edge of the seat back carries a locating pin device (10), which locates into a series of holes (11), fixed to the vehicle body.
