Pharmaceuticals are packaged in blister packs (5) which are themselves packaged, either individually or in groups, in a transit storage package (7). This is transported to an end packaging unit (4) where the blister packs are removed and placed, either individually or in groups in an end package (9). The blister packs are prepared in a forming unit (1) where they are positioned inside the transit storage package (7) face to face in a regular and fixed configuration. The transit storage package fits snugly about them. It is preferably configured as a tube with smooth internal faces and a shape and size to correspond to the shape and size of the flat face of the blister packs. |
