<p>Load carrier device (1) for the attachment to a rear door/trunk lid (8) of a vehicle, comprising a main frame (10) provided with at least one upper attachment device (3) and at least one lower attachment device (2), where said attachment devices are adapted to engage an upper and a lower edge of the rear door/trunk lid (8) respectively. The lower attachment device(s) (2) of the load carrier comprises a bracket (4) that at one end is connected to the main frame (10) and that is connected to an attachment clip (5) at its other end, where said clip grips under the lower edge of the rear door/trunk lid (8). The attachment clips (5) may have different shapes, and are allowed to be removed/mounted upon the bracket (4) by simple manual operations, and may therefore be adapted to fit various car models in a simple manner. Alternatively, the bracket (4) may have different designs to fit a variety of car models such as sedan, combi-coupé, etc. The lower attachment device (2) further comprises a support element (7), together with an adjustment device (33) for the adjustment of the distance between the upper and the lower attachment devices (3, 2).</p> |
