A mounting part(10) for fastening a component(16) onto a wall(14), ceiling or similar surface covered with an insulation layer(12) includes a heat insulating body(18) in which a tension and compression resistant reinforcing member(20) is embedded between the wall side(22) and component side(24) faces. A first fastener(34) attaches the reinforcing member(20) to the wall(14) and the component(16) is attached by a second set of fasteners(36) onto the reinforcing member(20).
