Rotating conductor to fixed light conductor coupling device for e.g. optical waveguide testing

The device has a centring sleeve (9) loosely containing one light conductor (2) and a holding sleeve (10) rigidly containing the second light conductor (3). Both light conductors are axially aligned. The centring and holding sleeves are each fixed in coaxial bores (7,8) passing through two arms (5,6) of a carrier (1). The carrier arms are at a distance apart. The first light conductor, which passes though the centring sleeve, is a monomode fibre and the second light conductor, which passes through the holding sleeve, is a multiple mode fibre. The latter conductor may be connected to a detector.
