The grain mill has a rotary grinding body (14) and fixed grinding body (13) with guide means (17,22,23) arranged at least in part in the area of the outer circumference of the rotary body to keep its grinding face parallel to that of the fixed body. The guide means can be cylindrical sockets (6,7) holding the grinding bodies. The sockets can be fitted in each other with keyed engagement. At least one socket can have a flat end face for supporting the corresponding grinding body. An additional slide bearing can be provided between the sockets.
