A bicycle parking apparatus with an anti-theft device for placing around the wheels and the frame. In use, the apparatus requires only a conventional U-shaped or looped bicycle lock or a conventional shackle padlock. The apparatus consists of a post (1) embedded in the ground and provided in its lower portion with a hooking bar (2) or a member (6) engageable by the front wheel. An arm (3) slidably mounted in the upper portion of the post is adaptable to bicycles of any height and engaged by a member (4) designed to be placed around a main bar of the frame. Said member (4) is adjustable about a rod (5) depending on the angle of the frame bar. The bicycle may be fully locked in place by inserting the shackle of a bicycle lock through one of the holes (7) in the member (4) and into a hole (8) in or on the post (1).
