Recovery of waste sulphuric acid from mineral oil industry
摘要
Waste 20-50% sulphuric acid (H2SO4) containing 1000-10000 ppm organic impurities is converted to 70-96% H2SO4 in a four stage process. Coarse impurities are removed by a mechanical separation process then an oxidising agent is added. In the 3rd stage which can proceed in parallel with the 2nd, the mixture is irradiated with high energy radiation, the wavelength, intensity and time depending on added oxidising agent. In the 4th stage the purified H2SO4 is concentrated to 70-96%.
