<p>A compact disc labelling device comprises a tube (8) having an upper end and a lower end in use, a circumferential flange extending from the upper end of the tube in use, a piston member (5) slidably received in the tube and having an upper surface in use, a first rod (4) having a diameter approximately equal to the diameter of the label's central aperture and which extends from the upper surface of the piston member, and a second rod (3) having a diameter approximately equal to the diameter of the disc's central aperture and which extends from the first rod. The piston member is adapted to move from a first position in which the second rod and at least a portion of the first rod extend above the upper surface of the flange to a second position in which at least the first rod depends below or is level with the upper surface of the flange. In use, a label is placed on the flange with the first rod projecting through its central aperture and the disc positioned on the second rod through its central aperture such that when the piston is moved from its first position to its second position, the disc is applied to the label.</p> |
