<p>A direct ink storing type writing instrument wherein a longitudinal channel causing a plurality of circumferential channels formed in an outer circumferential surface of an ink retaining body to communicate with an ink chamber extends to an intermediate portion of a collar portion formed rearwardly of the ink retaining body, and wherein a part of an outer portion of the longitudinal channel extending into the collar portion is made to communicate with a gap formed between a recessed portion formed in the outer circumference of the collar portion and an inner wall of a barrel cylinder, the gap establishing a communication between the longitudinal channel and the ink chamber.</p> |
